A month ago, (I think) I surprisingly received an email from Shai regarding this workshop. Of course, I was excited. I’ve known Shai and Love Chic 2-3 years ago and I am still a fan until today. With her four years of experience in blogging plus nine years in fashion and media, I was really looking forward to that workshop day.

6 Weeks to Go
Well not really plan.. but let me just give you some quick infos, ideas and more tips that I gathered all through out my wedding expo trips and more. :)
12 Months Before
Rediscover Reese’s Throwback Festival Fair was held last August 2, 2014 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall from 10:00am to 9:00pm. It was just a sudden change of plans and I ended up there. And probably one of the best decisions for that day. Since it’s a Fair, Reese’s had different games and treats for everyone! They also had sweet treats for everyone and ended the fair with a Mini Concert of Itchyworms and Never the Strangers. Fun Day indeed!
Hailed as the biggest DIY Day this year, Fujifilm, in cooperation with its sponsers put together a really fun and innovative way to promote their Instax Share. With only 250 participants, the DIY Day lets you print your own photos from your Android Phones. Other sponsors such as Paper Blush, All About Scrapbooking, Pony, Energizer, Canmake, Pascual, Stabilo and Maped gave out tons of freebies too.
Last August 1, Cinemalaya opened it’s 10th year at the Cultural Center of the Philippine. In the past years, Cinemalaya continues to expand more and hopefully by next year it will be a nationwide Film Festival. This year with cooperation at Ayala Malls, you can now watch Cinemalaya at an Ayala Mall near you.
A few days ago, Fernbrook Gardens at Daang Reyna hosted a fabulous Debut and Wedding Exhibit. And I must say, it’s one of my favorites. One of the best we attented to, actually. We had our food tasting and lunch at one of the Caterers, the Ilustrado Restaurant in Intramuros. Sumptuous and delicious food.
Lenovo Mobile Philippines launched its flagship smartphone last July 19, Saturday 4pm at The Atrium, SM Mall of Asia. I was one of the
privileged to be the first ones to see the new Lenovo S850 and A8-50 thanks to Lenovo and Ava Te for the VIP Invites to the event and
some Lenovo premium items! Forever 21 also unveiled their Spring - Summer Collection!
Themes and Motifs, since July 1999 is one of the top and most prestigious source for wedding inspirations and suppliers. Now just a little note, I am not getting married anytime soon, I just like to go to these kind of events to learn the trends, forecasting, and learn things on event planning. Anyways, I got the invites from the Themes and Motifs Office itself at Makati Shangri La, and yes, it’s much easier than online invites! So if ever you’re around that area, I’d highly recommend you to drop by! (Next is Sept. 13-14 at SMX again)
THE BIGGEST MAFBEX EVER. Yes, it deserves all caps. Hahaha. Well originally, MAFBEX is only at the World Trade Center. This time they not just used the tent but also the Philippine Trade Training Center.
Estee Lauder’s New Lipstick Shine Envy already came in the Philippine shores and what a better way to celebrate it with a workshop right? So the International Makeup Artist of Estee Lauder Mr. Bobby Wang went off from NYC straight in Manila just for this workshop!
Havaianas, being one of the top seller in the flip flop industry, has their one of it’s kind event every year called Make your Own Havaianas (MYOH for short). This year I was privileged to experience it with special thanks to Paul Chuapoco (Paul the PR Guy), not just any event but the Media Launch!
Weddings and Beyond 19th Edition, had the Grandest Mid-Year Wedding and Debut 2014 Exposition last May 3 & 4 at the World Trade Center. I am really thrilled because it is my first time to attend (I always wanted to,but didn’t had the time) and I always have this little dream to be a wedding planner so I was so happy when I received the invites.
I remember when me and James first heard The 1975 in this proposal. Ever since, we got so hooked! I remember it’s our travel playlist and we’d listen to it together. He even sings some of the songs for me. Then, few weeks after I caught the news that they’re going to Manila! So exicted, James called me and I shared the news. God, I have never seen the both of us so excited in a gig.
